Quick answer: Copy the slideshow link with Share → Copy link, paste it into the SLMtik photo downloader with Photos selected, and tap Download. Each image appears separately in full size. Switch to MP3 and paste again to save the music.
TikTok photo posts — often called slideshows or carousels — are sets of still images that play with music. They are popular for outfit ideas, recipes, travel tips and photo dumps. The app's own Save button turns them into a low-quality video, which is not what you want if you need the pictures.
Step by step
- Open the slideshow in TikTok and tap Share → Copy link.
- Paste it into the TikTok photo downloader. Photos is preselected.
- Tap Download. Each image appears as its own button — tap each to save.
- Switch to MP3 and paste again to save the music.
Putting them in your gallery
On iPhone, long-press each image and choose Save to Photos, or save to Files and move them later. On Android, they appear in the gallery under Downloads automatically. On a computer, they are in your Downloads folder, numbered in the order of the post.
Image quality
You get the images at the size the creator uploaded, usually 1080 pixels wide. That is much sharper than a screenshot, which also captures the TikTok buttons and captions on top. Some images are WebP files; every modern phone and browser opens them.
Want a video instead?
If you want the slideshow as a single video with music, paste the link with Video selected — when TikTok has a rendered version, you will get an MP4. This is useful for sending the whole slideshow on WhatsApp in one go.
Making your own slideshows from the photos
If the photos are yours, you can rebuild the slideshow in Instagram, CapCut or the iPhone Photos "Memories" feature. Keep the images in the same 9:16 or 3:4 shape so nothing gets cropped.
Saving on a computer
On Windows or Mac, open the slideshow on tiktok.com, copy the address from the browser bar and paste it into SLMtik. The images download to your Downloads folder. Select them all and drag them into a folder named after the post, so they stay together and in order.
Respecting the creator
Saving outfit or recipe images for yourself is normal. Reposting someone else's photo dump as your own is not. If you share a photo, credit the account.
