Last updated: October 16, 2026. This policy explains what happens to information when you use SLMtik, the website and the download tool.
What we process
- The link you paste, only to fetch the file you asked for. It is not linked to you and is not kept after the request is finished.
- Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time — kept for up to 14 days to stop abuse, block automated scraping and fix errors.
- Messages you send us by email, kept as long as needed to answer you and then deleted within 12 months.
What we never collect
Passwords, social media logins, contacts, photos from your device, location, or a history of what you downloaded. The site has no account system, so there is no profile about you.
Why we process it (legal basis)
We process the pasted link to provide the service you request (contract / legitimate interest). We keep short-term logs for security and abuse prevention (legitimate interest). We do not use your information for advertising profiles.
Cookies and local storage
The site works without cookies. We do not use tracking pixels or third-party analytics today. If we add privacy-friendly analytics or ads in the future, we will update this page first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Who we share data with
Our hosting provider stores server logs on our behalf under a data processing agreement. When you paste a link, our server contacts the platform (for example TikTok) to request the public file; the platform sees a request from our server, not from you. We do not sell or rent data to anyone.
International transfers
Our servers may be located outside your country. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, UK GDPR and similar laws you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, and complain to your data protection authority. Because we do not keep accounts or download histories, we usually hold nothing that identifies you beyond short-lived logs. Write to us via the contact page.
Children
SLMtik is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. TikTok itself requires users to be at least 13.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, uses security headers, and keeps no database of user activity. No system is perfect, but holding almost no data is the strongest protection there is.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top. Important changes are also mentioned on the home page for 30 days.

Do not send us sensitive data
Never email us passwords, ID documents or payment details. We will never ask for them, and any message claiming to be from SLMtik that does is a scam.
Links to other sites
Our pages link to TikTok, Apple, Google and other services when a guide needs them. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data. Read their policies before you share anything with them.

For any question about this policy or your data, write to us through the contact page with "Privacy" in the subject. We answer privacy requests within 30 days, as the GDPR requires, and usually much faster.
